Sunny
Mesa's Pepperdyne
(True Black) DOB 7/5/02
SIRE: Royal Peruvian Challenger (grey)
DAM: Kachess (dark brown)
Pepper has exceptional fiber coverage and low 18 micron, finely crimped fiber. He has consistently produced solid black when bred to black and rose grey progeny all exhibiting excellent fiber character, density, brightness and conformation. He carries grey genes from his Dad, a champion at AOBA in '99 and the wonderful fiber characteristics of his Dam.
Sunny Mesa's Pepperdyne progeny, all black, exhibit EXQUISITE, finely
crimped fiber testing at 17-18 microns. Coal, his first, was recognized by two senior judges for his fineness in halter and fleece shows. His full sister Velvet is following Coal in quality and fineness. Pepper is an excellent choice for maintaining black color, lowering micron, improving brightness and coverage and producing "advanced" character, exceptionally bright black fleece.
